"Until the End"
A reimagined, sea shanty version of Until the End's title track. The song tells of the bond between a captain and the beloved ship that has carried him onwards throughout his life. Or perhaps, it's a metaphor for something more....
I shot, produced, and edited the entire video myself using different locations at Fort Pickens and Pensacola Beach. The song was recorded using two electric ukuleles, 5-string bass, a violin played pizzicato, two shakers, and a Native American buckskin drum.

"Every Storm has an End"
A short film celebrating the release of our second, steampunk-inspired album Circumnavigator. We wanted to capture the core story presented on our web site and the album: a man's journey around the world to save his stricken wife.
The song is "Above the Overcast" - track #9 off the album. The album version is pure instrumental. The other ten songs are a mix of vocal tracks and instrumental pieces that evoke different moments along the journey.

"The Air Race"
A song about extreme flight needed some radial-engined footage. EtC's songwriter Mark took to the skies in the backseat of a pair of Cold War Soviet-designed Yak trainers as their pilots practiced their aerobatic routines over Pensacola Beach. He even got some stick time!
The look for the video was inspired by the rotoscoped feel of films such as Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly.

{ I let my camera roll out the window of an Embraer 145 as we climbed up out of South Florida through many, many layers of clouds, until finally breaking through to the bright sunshine above the overcast. Later on, I wrote a simple, hopeful piece of music to accompany the video. } |

{ This was my entry into Nine Inch Nails' Ghosts DVD project, an original short video set to the music of NIN's Ghosts #7. It was a commentary on the state of Fox News as a political mouthpiece. } |

{ I was in the right place at the right time when this airship came in to land at our local airport. You can see the people and equipment it takes to wrestle this ship to the ground. Keep in mind that these Skyship 600's are about 300 feet long, less than a third the length of the Hindenburg and Graf Zeppelin. } |
